My New Favourite Quote

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher ahog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build awall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, actalone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program acomputer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Full House

My daughter, Josie and my two grandchildren, April and Breanna, just moved back in with us for awhile. How long? Don't know. Right now just trying to figure out where to put all her stuff.

I aspire to get one Aspire One

I’m looking every day to see when the Aspire One becomes available. I want the blue 120 gig hd model. I’ll have to crack it open and add some ram but heh! that’s part of the fun. I might even install tinyxp on it. Looking forward to having something really light and powerful to carry around.

More bad new for G4techTV

Just read on the Lab with Leo Blog that Rogers has cancelled The Lab with Leo. I’m glad that Matt, Kate and Sean got back to Toronto before the end. Too bad that there won’t be a “Last Show” like there was when Call for Help ended in Toronto.

I guess I can cancel my G4 channel on my cable now.

I Love Getmail for Gmail

Since December 13th, when I first heard about Google adding this feature, I have been checking my accounts settings several times a day. It finally showed up Feb 1st. I really think this is great. I don’t have to check three different places for my mail now. It all comes to my Gmail inbox with all the spam put where it belongs. Now I know some people still think Gmail is not perfect as it doesn’t support Imap yet. I don’t use Imap so as far as I’m concerned, Gmail is now perfect.
