Most people I meet seem to think that because I’ve been involved with computers for so long that I never get frustrated with them. Nothing could be further from the truth. I probably get more frustrated than a lot of people because I know what should be possible and when things don’t work I take it as a challenge. I’ve lost much sleep trying to get some program or piece of hardware working. If I didn’t know so much about computers, I would give up much sooner. Technology should work for us, not the other way around.
I’ve been guilty of thinking that everyone is as passionate about technology as I am. I look around my room right now and I can see nine computers plus various other bits like printers (2) scanners (2) PDAs (3) and many many parts.
