I Love a challenge or I’m a glutton for Punishment

I sent a resume off on Friday. I’ve been retired for seven years but I sometimes miss the challenge of trying to get an SQL statement just right or make a report show just what it should or figure out how to import data from an old monster sitting in a server room three stories underground somewhere.

I don’t know if I’ll even get an interview but the great thing is that I don’t need the job to survive. The big thing I worry about is if I was to start working, it would all come back. I mean the long hours, the pots of coffee, endless rewrites of databases and Crystal reports.

Actually, come to think of it, those would be the good things about working.
