Ed, Farrah, Michael all gone.
Ed Mcmahon lived a long life. I think he was just tired. He laughed so many nights, sometimes the jokes Johnny told were not so good but Ed’s laugh made them funny. He infected us with his laughter. He was called “The human laugh-track” for a good reason. I don’t think he was able to laugh as much the last few years. For Ed, the pain is gone. I’m sure he is laughing again, right next to Johnny.
Farrah, that poster, what more can I say. She once said that she didn’t like that poster because her teeth didn’t look good. I think I speak for every man when I say, “Teeth??” She had a hard time after a season of Charlie’s Angels. She wanted to prove she was more than “that blond from the poster.” She did make a few good movies. The best one, in my opinion was “The Burning Bed.” It was as far from Charlie’s Angels and that poster as she could get and she did great. It was sad to hear that she was too weak at the end to marry Ryan O’Neal. Heaven has opened the gates for an Angel.
Michael Jackson always struck me as a very insecure guy. Fame is not all it’s cracked up to be.
Warning: Rush Quote “Limelight”
Cast in this unlikely role,
Ill-equipped to act
With insufficient tact
One must put up barriers
To keep oneself intact
Michael never seemed to really like himself. Maybe he saw the “Man in the Mirror” and wanted to be someone else. He was hounded and vilified for being different. I find it funny that all the news programs, magazines and papers are tripping over each other with tributes to him, now that he’s dead. In life, they hated him.
Warning: John Lennon Quote “Nobody Loves You”
Everybody loves you when you’re six foot in the ground
I was never his biggest fan but he had a few songs I really liked and Wow! the guy could move. Take care Michael, when you get to heaven “It don’t matter if you’re black or white”
